Campaign Volunteer Summit 2019

More than a hundred volunteers from as far away as Maryland, New York, and London attended the November 15 Campaign Volunteer Summit at the MLK Student Union. Guests heard inspiring presentations by undergraduate and graduate students and faculty, as well as campaign updates from Chancellor Carol Christ and Vice Chancellor Julie Hooper.  Participants then divided into six breakout sessions focusing on the campaign case and unit vision statements. Volunteers provided valuable feedback on the approach and content of partial drafts shared with them in advance of the summit. The feedback will guide the further development of the marketing documents, which will be released prior the campaign kickoff in late February. The drafts shared with volunteers included the introduction to the main campaign case and two of the interior stories, as well as five of the unit vision statements.
